Criss Calderon (Assistant to Dr. Ernest Sponzilli)

In 2005, Criss came to Mt. Tam Orthopedics from the Marin Specialty Surgery Center.  She has over 25 years of experience in the customer relations industry.  This background has proven invaluable as the assistant to Dr. Sponzilli.  As the liaison for Mt. Tam Orthopedics, she coordinates local high school sports physicals as well as the medical coverage for high school football games.  She is a true sports fanatic, both as a coach and player, which makes Mt. Tam Orthopedics a perfect fit for her. 

 

 

 

Alison Dumont, B.A., R.N. (Assistant to Dr. Robert Byers)

After receiving a Bachelor of Arts from Sonoma State University, she attended Grossmont College in San Diego where she received her degree in Nursing.  Her orthopedic background began in 1979 when she became the Patient Care Coordinator of The Center For Sports Medicine, Saint Francis Hospital in San Francisco.  Under the guidance of Sports Medicine Director, Dr. James Garrick, she has lectured, participated in research and published several articles in the field of Sports Medicine.

She came to Mt. Tam Orthopedics in 1990, where she has broadened her orthopedic experience to include the care and treatment of patients with spine related issues. She has worked as Dr. Byers’ nurse for the past 15 years.

 

 

Dayna Dumont (Assistant to Dr. Brian Su)

After graduating from UC Davis in 2008, with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Biology, Dayna began work at Mt. Tam Orthopedics.  As an intercollegiate athlete, playing on UC Davis Women’s Soccer team, she spent time in the training room and subsequently developed an interest in medicine.   Ultimately she would like to further her medical training by attending Nursing School.
