John C. Keohane, M.D.

My goal for my patients is restoration to an optimal level of function and health, and a return to an active lifestyle as soon as possible. I approach my patents with an attitude of caring, a state-of-the-art knowledge base, and 30 years of surgical experience and expertise.

I have had a life-long interest is sports and athletics. Because of this, I have focused my practice on sports-related injuries and the residuals of sports-related injuries. My primary focus is on knee injuries, but I take care of many shoulder and hip disorders as well.

I received specialized training and became proficient in arthroscopic knee and shoulder repairs, as well as minimally invasive hip and knee replacement and resurfacing procedures. I also have a special interest in cartilage salvage and restoration procedures for complex knee conditions.

For the past 25 years, I have served and continue to serve as one of the physicians for the United States Ski Team. It has been a privilege to be associated with these world class athletes. They are true examples of athletes who have overcome physical problems and injuries to return to world class levels of function.

I enjoy my patients and my work tremendously and I feel honored to help restore my patients to health.
